Biography Edit
Nnegest is an American filmmaker, who grew up in San Francisco and Oakland, California. She considers herself tri-cultural being of African-American, Ethiopian and Nigerian heritage. Nnegest earned her B.A. in Mass Communications from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2015 she helmed the film Ben & Ara. In 2017, she wrote, directed and produced Everything But a Man starring Monica Calhoun and Jimmy Jean-Louis. Her début film was Fox Searchlight's Phat Girlz.（db）
